Just saw War for the Planet of the Apes, it was a pretty good film. It was very reflective on the horrors of war and the evils of mankind and how human the apes have become. Like that one scene in the film when they introduced JoJo the Punk Anarchist dream that burned down an Apache helicopter with the flick of a cigarette butt. The movie just kept you guessing and wondering what was going to happen next. I was caught by surprise as it was revealed at the end of the movie (Spoiler Alert) that JoJo was the main antagonist the entire time that turned out to be a double agent for Caesar and a sect of the FSB that survived the disease, this (in a great plot twist) became a clever ruse as JoJo sought to take down both the human armies and the ape army in attempts to sell their weapons for cigarettes and beer. War for the Planet of the Apes is a movie full of emotion, action and wit that would bring anyone to tears, like that end scene when JoJo ultimately failed and became a recluse telling both ape and human alike to "fuck off". (Included below is a photo of the end scene, poor Jojo 😢 )
